Arizona's first American Tinnitus Association approved Walk to Silence Tinnitus will take place at March 5, 2011, 10am at DC Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The walk course is gorgeous and 2 miles in length. One may run or walk the course to help raise money to fund tinnitus and hyperacusis research. Please visit walk.ata.org for more information on this premiere event. You may set up your own walk team. All funds raised will be allocated to the most competitive research grant applications reviewed and approved by the American Tinnitus Association's Scientific Advisory Committee. The ATA funds research once to twice a year and offers young as well as veteran researchers a very unique opportunity to earn significant funding in a rapid fashion. These grants are vital for research scientists. The scientific advances help us draw closer to tinnitus mechanisms and cures for the symptoms of tinnitus and hyperacusis. |
